Heart arrhythmia is characterized by an irregular heartbeat. While some arrhythmias are harmless, others may cause life-threatening symptoms. It is important for patients suffering from this condition to understand arrhythmia to make more informed decisions. This infographic was designed as a patient education poster and may be accompanied by physician commentary.

After researching the literature, I highlighted the most common arrhythmias. Next, I added an introduction to provide context for the reader and included three memorable facts to capture their attention. Following that, I began experimenting with the layout, creating three different versions:
After receiving feedback from faculty and fellow students, I decided to present the heart in a more familiar orientation. I also paid more attention to atrial fibrillation and added separate "factoids" for it:
